Sir Thomas

THOMAS BOYD OF KILMARNOCK was an hostage for the ransom of King James and was delivered to the English, 28th March 1423-24 and was imprisoned at Fotheringay and at Dover Castle.

He married Joanna Montgomery of Ardrossan and died in 1432.

He had two sons:

  1. Sir Thomas
  2. William, Abbot of Kilwinning, had a dispensation to marry and was ancestor of the Lennox-Boyds
