John

John Boyd of Crosspatrick Esquire born 1774. Succeeded his brother. He married Mary, daughter of Andrew and Bridget Know of Castlerea, County Mayo, a family descended from a common ancestor with the Knoxes, Earls of Manfurly. Mr. Boyd died in 1804 and is buried at Killala. By Mary his wife, who was baptised at Killala November 4th, 1759 and died at Castlebar August 12th, 1830, he had issue:

  3. Alexander
  4. Robert
  5. John, baptized 6th January 1795
  6. Arthur, baptised 9th August, 1796
  7. Bridget, baptised 7th November, 1785. Married 1807 a captain in the 20th Regiment
