The material in this website is primarily based on a Document:
'A Brief Account of the Boyds of Kilmarnock
and their Cadets, the Boyds of Crosspatrick, Co. Mayo,
and their Alliances
and a Full Pedigree of the a'Becketts of West Lavington'
written by my paternal great uncle, Martin Boyd who was a keen genealogist.
Although I am yet to put the a'Beckett and the other Alliances of the Boyds in this site - only the Boyd section is currently up.
The section on the Boyds in Australia & New Zealand from Captain John Boyd through to Martin's generation were fleshed out with information from the book:

although there is a wealth of information in this book and recommend that anyone who wishes to find out more that they read it.
